Overview

Electric flat saws provide a consistent cutting machine with a safe, clean-air option for cutting indoors or in “live/occupied” buildings. The cost of using electric saws is slightly higher than gas saws due to the need for the 480V on-board generator, but the applications are very similar to its gas flat saw counterpart.

Applications of Flat Sawing (Inside)

Usually up to 12” depth indoors, cutting for concrete demolition and removal
Expansion or control joints on newly poured concrete
